Being a Weekender

The Weekend Max Mara Autumn/Winter 2024Advertising Campaign.

Breathtaking northern landscapes are the setting of a free-spirited journey of self-discovery and nature love. Each photograph has a story of its own: coats dance to the sound of the wind, a hand puppet chats with the iconic Pasticcino Bag, a silk scarf becomes a colourful kite, a wooden fence the perfect prop, autumn leaves transform into showering rain and ducks and drakes are played mid-lake. This seasons’ protagonist not only Lives in the Weekend Max Mara world, but becomes a Weekender in spirit. Her wardrobe fully embodies her personality wherever she is and further enriches every experience.

We see the Weekend Max Mara protagonist in an oversize blazer over a V-neck patterned tank in alpaca and wide velvet pants. A long egg-shape tweed coat with tailored detailing is layered over a zipped jacket with hood in jersey and a soft mohair jumper. The heart of the outfit, however, is the delicate and feminine patterned silk twill shirt and shorts two-piece. Nowhere without the season’s new trench, this version comes with a special customized padding, has patch pockets, side slits andWeekend printed on the lining. Outerwear is big in this collection and cosily elegant staples in rich complementing earthy tones are the Weekender’s go-to pieces for Autumn/Winter 2024 to accompany her on her highland adventures.
